Official Contest Rules

GreenFront Summer Contest– “Get Your Summer Back”

These Official Rules govern the GreenFront “Get Your Summer Back” Contest (the “Contest”). By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Rules and the decisions of GreenFront Property Maintenance (“the Sponsor”), which are final and binding.

1. Sponsor

This Contest is administered by GreenFront Property Maintenance, Whitby, Ontario, Canada.

2. Eligibility

This Contest is open to:

  • Legal residents of Durham Region, Ontario

  • Homeowners aged 18 years or older

  • Individuals who purchase and accept a paid weekly or bi-weekly lawn care service package for the 2026 season

Entrants must maintain an active, paid service agreement for the entire 2026 season (June 1 – October 31, 2026).

The following are not eligible:

  • Renters or non-homeowners

  • Individuals outside Durham Region

  • Employees, contractors, or representatives of GreenFront

  • Immediate family members of the above

  • Anyone who cancels or fails to maintain their service agreement for the full 2026 season

The Sponsor may verify eligibility at any time.

3. Contest Period

The Contest begins April 27, 2026 at 12:01 AM EST and ends May 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST (“Contest Period”).

All accepted service agreements must be completed before the deadline.

4. How to Enter

To receive an entry, eligible participants must:

  • Request an estimate for weekly or bi-weekly lawn care during the Contest Period.

  • Accept the estimate and purchase the service package for the 2026 season.

  • Maintain an active, paid service agreement throughout the entire 2026 season.

Limit: One (1) entry per household.

Entries obtained through fraudulent means or incomplete service agreements may be disqualified.

5. Prize

There is one (1) prize available:

A full season (June 1 – October 31, 2026) of weekly lawn maintenance services at no cost.

Prize includes:

  • Weekly mowing

  • Trimming

  • Edging

  • Standard lawn maintenance as defined in GreenFront’s service plan

Prize does not include:

  • Spring or fall cleanups

  • Mulch or garden bed work

  • Hedge trimming

  • Power washing

  • Fertilization, aeration, overseeding

  • Any services outside the standard mowing package

Prize is:

  • Non-transferable

  • Not redeemable for cash

  • Not substitutable, except at Sponsor’s discretion

Approximate retail value varies by property size and service frequency.

6. Winner Selection & Announcement

One (1) winner will be selected and announced on May 24, 2026.

The winner will be chosen by random draw from all eligible entries and contacted directly by phone or email.

If the selected entrant:

  • Cannot be reached within 48 hours,

  • Fails to meet eligibility requirements,

  • Declines the prize, or

  • Cancels their service agreement at any time during the 2026 season,

the Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

7. Winner Requirements

Before being declared the official winner, the selected entrant must:

  • Confirm eligibility

  • Sign a Declaration of Compliance and Liability/Publicity Release

  • Consent to the use of their first name and municipality for promotional purposes

Failure to comply may result in disqualification.

8. Odds of Winning

Odds depend on the total number of eligible paid service agreements accepted during the Contest Period.

9. Limitation of Liability

By entering, participants agree that GreenFront Property Maintenance and its representatives are not liable for:

  • Technical issues, delays, or system failures

  • Lost, late, or incomplete entries

  • Any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation or prize use

  • Service delays caused by weather, safety concerns, or operational limitations

  • Any inability to provide services due to circumstances beyond the Sponsor’s control

The Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or other factors compromise its integrity.

10. Service Conditions

Prize services are subject to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Safety considerations

  • Property accessibility

  • GreenFront’s standard service schedule and operational capacity

The Sponsor may refuse service if unsafe or unreasonable conditions exist.

11. Privacy

Personal information collected during the Contest will be used solely for:

  • Contest administration

  • Winner notification

  • Service delivery

Information will not be sold or shared with third parties.

12. General Conditions

The Sponsor reserves the right to:

  • Disqualify any entrant who violates these Rules

  • Cancel or modify the Contest at any time

  • Substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary

All decisions made by the Sponsor are final and binding.

13. Governing Law

This Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada.
